(D-Chicago), was one of several state dignitaries to deliver memorials at
the funeral of Senate Majority Leader, Senator Vince Demuzio (D-Carlinville)
who lost his battle with cancer. Senator Demuzio was the longest
serving member of the Illinois Senate when he died, and was the only member
of the Democratic caucus to have previously served in the Senate majority.
While Senator Demuzio's funeral ran over an hour, we air here the comments
